Brian Gallagher
Co-founder of the Abundance Circle Former CEO of United Way
Brian Gallagher is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way Worldwide, the world’s largest privately-funded nonprofit. In 2002, he took on this role and rapidly transformed the organization into a driver of long-term community impact. In 2009, under his leadership, United Way of America and United Way International merged to create United Way Worldwide and shifted focus of its mission to driving community change.
Luis Javier Castro
Co-founder of the Abundance Circle Founding partner of Mesoamerica and Alejandria
Mr. Luis Javier Castro is the Founding Partner and Managing Director of Mesoamerica Investments, a Latin American Private Equity firm that invests consciously for an abundant Latin America. Prior to founding Mesoamerica, Luis Javier was a consultant at Bain & Company. In 2013, he was awarded business man of the year by El Financiero of Costa Rica for his transcendental leadership that allowed Mesoamerica to cross frontiers and become one of the most relevant and innovative firms in the last 25 years.
